No special software needed. You just right-click on any drive, go to "properties", then go to "tools" and click on "check" in "error checking" tap. It will run scanning and fixing for how long depends on your drive's size.

I wish I were joking... That pain was so brutal! The way they portray people injuring their eyes in movies or whatever is not even close to how it truly hurts... You have no idea... I'm okay now but it's been all blurry on my right eye for a while so, I dunno.
